This qualification is intended for aspiring internal quality assurance staff and aims to provide the essential knowledge and understanding that quality assurance staff need. We offer additional units to demonstrate competent practice for anyone who wishes to practice as an Internal Quality Assurance.Programme Goals

Not currently in an assessment role and looking to extend knowledge and understanding and extend competence in an assessor role

Programme Delivery
This qualification is regulated in the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). It gives learners the knowledge and skills to develop internal quality assurance processes and practices.
This is a competence-based qualification, and it should be assessed in a realistic work environment in line with the relevant assessment strategy. To achieve the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment
Processes and Practice, a student must complete a workbook and earn a minimum of 6 credits.
Assessment plans and portfolio evidence will be assessed by a fully qualified and occupationally competent coach/assessor virtually, one-to-one, using a variety of methods, and delivered flexibly according to the learner’s needs.
Portfolio evidence will then be internally quality assessed and externally certified by the Awarding Body NCFE.
