This qualification is intended for aspiring internal quality assurance. It aims to provide the essential knowledge and understanding that quality assurance staff need and offer additional units to acquire and demonstrate competent practice.Programme Goals

Programme Delivery
This qualification is regulated by the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). It provides learners with a wide range of knowledge and skills to develop teaching practice, competence and confidence.
This competence-based qualification should be assessed in a realistic work environment that aligns with the relevant assessment strategy. To achieve the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice, a student must produce a portfolio of evidence and earn a minimum of 12 credits.
Assessment plans and portfolio evidence will be assessed by a fully qualified and occupationally competent coach/assessor virtually, one-to-one, using a variety of methods, and delivered flexibly according to the learner’s needs.
Portfolio evidence will then be internally quality assessed and externally certified by the Awarding Body NCFE.
